I'm feeling really sad and miserable, its been a shit Xmas, for first time in years I've actually had a decent amount of time off work but have been so bloody lonely and bored. Most of the time I've been trapped inside by the trecherous weather conditions, not one member of my family has been to visit(they drive, I don't) or even called to say Merry Christmas, I tried to call them but not been able to get an answer, everyone obviously been out or away. Dreading tomorrow cos I'll be home alone so I just hope there will be other sad f***kers oh here for me to talk to!!!! Sorry just had to have a moan to somone  |

bless you ...i know how that feels ..im happily single but i find christmas is the worst time to be on your own. this is my 5th christmas on my own and it gets a little easier each year ..im home alone now too but have a lovely family i spent christmas with .And i have some lovely guys i gt to play with sometimes !!!! get some happy music on and find yourself something to take your mind off it ...it works for me and tomorrow is another day .you never know what is around your corner ..it could be something wonderful !!!! take care ... |

I have to say I'm getting really tired, and the kids (love 'em)are starting to drive me crazy - the weatyher's so crap we can't go outside so it's getting cabin feverish a bit in here.

well been ill all over the hols so havent seen family since xmas day.
So how not to be lonely me thinks - well I have always got a good book in to read which is great, a pampering bath and lots of creams to pamper yourself with, play music loud and sung badly  , remember you are your best friend so talk to yourself and remember you are worth talking to. Oh and I go onto google and look for obscure things to search for 
Anyway to anyone who is lonely at xmas you are not alone. You have yourself there and you are special  |

sorry to hear that you had a bad time, but dont forget some peeps with families might have had a bad time to, family rows, stress of getting everything ready etc, we always used to go to my parents in denmark, crimbo is a huge thing there, but it became so much of a chore we stay here now, grass is not always greener.

Sorry to hear about your Christmas. It can be lonely but the loneliest Christmas I spent was with my husband and kids, four months before I left him, so family doesn't always count. I dont see you as moaning, just hope you have a better year to look forward too. All the best V x |

I've had a pretty awful year, although compared to some it will have been positively idyllic.
Just over a yr ago my (former) fiancee walked out - the dressing was part of the problem.
Then i was made redundant in July & i haven't worked since. Been suffering with depression on & off for the last 18 months as well.
The lifesaver has been my new partner. Not only does she accept my need to dress and the bi-sexuality that goes with it, she is more than happy to join in!
I have a job interview in the New Year and i'm about to start training for new quals in MTB leadership/teaching in order to find a new career path.
I live alone as well & find i can easily slip into moroseness, especially when i don't speak to people for days at a time. This time of yr is bad, we all place so much expectation on having the 'best' time & it almost never is.
Get yourself to your local swingers club, it will be warm, fun and friendly if nothing else! |

Thanks again all of you, I feel better already, all hugs whatever size are welcomed with open arms, I will survive, its not the first New Year I have spent alone but hope it will be my last.
