What's your goto preference
Mine is filled ones (the custard filled ones from Asda are fantastic)
After that its freshly cooked ring doughnuts from fairgrounds etc with about 5billion calories worth of sugar on them.   |

I was waiting for someone to say I had spelled it wrong and it should be 'donuts' - (this is England, not the US and we use our language correctly)

Before biting into one of these delicious beasts, look first for the little holes where the filling has been piped into the centre.
It is judicious to bite here as to bite anywhere else will augment the chances of the filling exploding all down your front.

I bring a couple of boxes of donuts to most socials I go to in Ireland
They're made by a shop called Off Beat Donuts
Lemon meringue seem to be the most popular as the ladies seem to want them first but they all get eaten anyway |

Fairground ones all the way. It pains me that I live close enough to Skegness that I could actually have them from time to time yet in 2 years of living here I haven’t had them once.
