Right now I don't want either, but when I was single I had a few fb's rather than a fwb.

I didn't want to have closeness or friendship, I didn't want lots of messages or calls or daily updates. I just wanted them for sex when it suited me and my schedule, hence the reason why I had a few of them.

It worked for me for over 3 years.

With one adjustment, it doesn't need to be a frequent regular fwb. Nor does it need to be super best friends forever friendship either. Somebody I get on with and could chill with now and again is fine but definitely some level of social aspect.
