I found a nice pair of chinos during the Black Friday sale that fit me perfectly. Now I’ve bought the same pair again but in every colour.

Depends if they were bought out of necessity or to improve road performance

It’s brilliant too. No more searching for the right keystrokes to employ weapons.

I've treated myself all this year on new LEGO sets, so I'm being sensible. At least until I have more shelves. 🤫

Also going to a rave on NYE, so that's mostly the main treat really.

Do you reckon you could jump in a real one and fly it?

Sounds pretty handy in the heat of a dogfight!

How many different throttle kits do you have?

Nice! What’s your favourite kit you bought this year?

I’ve also treated myself to Christmas Lego sets but they are disguised as presents for the kids 😂

Definitely the UCS Millennium Falcon. It's a Mould King knock-off, but honestly can't tell the difference in brick quality, as they use GoBricks (the best alternative brand). Absolutely zero issues building it. Plus, it only cost £220, with a stand and MOC engine replacement parts (makes it look far better, by using transparent bricks instead of those awful pipes).

I also really love the Godzilla model I got from Panlos. It's mid-size, but looks so good.

Haha, that's brilliant. Oh, dad will help you with those. Sneaky genius. 😂

I'm tempted to buy an Alpha Romeo, it's in red, so it seems festive.

I’ve actually reached out to a couple of units about the possibility of doing a comparison between a pc simulator, and the simulators used to train pilots. I’d like to write an article about it.

Just two.

One for the F-16

The other is for an F/A-18 Hornet

That Falcon is massive!

I found a MOC Jabba's Palace on Ali, only £66, looks incredible! Can't wait to build that on Boxing day

Yeah, it's a beast. 😄 15k pieces, nearly a metre long. The instructions book weighs as much nearly as the model lol.

Wicked, that sounds good! 👌🏻 I've got my eye on either the Venator Cruiser, Imperial Destroyer or Jawa Sandcrawler next. Aching for another large build, like some LEGO junkie. 😆

I use YWOBB, but they've had to increase delivery costs recently, so large sets can be £50+ postage. But fair enough, they're halfway across the world. Still cheaper in them long run.

I want to know what the plants are.

I dislike seeing Poinsettias in the shops, as they are almost invariably suffering from shock, due to the cold, humidity levels changesetc. I'm guessing OPs bought none of these

I have no idea what they are. It was a sale of lucky dip plants... so will be a second treat when I open the box to see what I got

I have not bought a poinsettia and you are right, no one should buy them from a supermarket, they will die shortly after and there is nothing you can do about it.

Get one from a proper plant nursery
