Simply say that you’re in before plonking your arses down on a seat and glaring at other assembled miserable members.
Chat is optional but obviously undesirable, rather an occasional grunt may suffice to let other folks know that you are present but highly unsocial and mightily proud of this fact.

I'm sat trying to blow dry my absolutely wet through wheelchair upholstery and cushion, with a hair dryer. Don't mind me while I glower and wish bodily harm upon the wazzocks who deliberately drove into the gutters and tidal-waved me. Three times. And may the taxi driver who almost ran me down on a crossing (red light for him) be smited by a plethora of Lego between his toes and in his underwear!
