I know he has his (stans) fans, but I've just never got it with him. I also fundamentally find his rap voice annoying, which kills any prospect of me listening to his music for extended periods of time. |

I’m not a huge Kendrick fan but I respect his lyricism. And I think God Kid Maad City of one of the best rap albums in history. A true master piece. He’s declined since imo but he’s still great. |

New album is excellent. He's definitely riding a wave just now. Heart pt 6 is a beautiful memoir of his early days but it's just one of many good songs on the album.
My fav songs of his are MAAD City, Money Trees, I, Count me Out....so many more tbh. |

You learn something every day, if you're not careful.
An hour ago, I had never heard of Kendrick Lamar, but Google is my friend. I now know that he's one of those folks who shout while other people play tunes - sometimes rhyming, sometimes obscene, often both. It seems that he's considered to be quite good at this shouty-swearing thing. Bizarrely, he's even won a Pulitzer Prize for Music, despite not being a musician.
À chacun son goût, of course, and the world would be very dull if we all liked the same stuff. Personally, I'd rather listen to someone singing. |
