Date night...

Recently single and seeing loads of stuff on that I'd normally associate doing as a couple rather than with mates.

Who'd be up for a date night to see a band or show (or similar) with someone off here?

Kinda like a Date Buddy (as opposed to FB) or date mate?

No agenda, I just think the conversation might be more interesting and open with a fellow fabber.

That sounds lovely mate! And in Wilmslow! That's a lovely place.

If you can't find anyone, let me know. Lol.

There is a different vibe when doing stuff with male and female friends I find. It is tricky sometimes finding someone to go to a country fair or heritage property etc, when your friends are part of a couple. They tend do do stuff like that, as a couple.

The cinema in Wilmslow is old and lovely.

This is so true! Friends that are couples absolutely want to do ‘couple’ things, with couples

My point exactly... Some things just feel "right" with female company, others are better with blokes.

Whilst Wilmslow is indeed nice, sorry to burst your bubble but the event that inspired the post is in Buxton - equally as lovely but the people might be a little more "yo, give me six".

It looks like the centre of the universe these days... See what happens when you give people electricity and running water!

There's a thread already for boiling piss... And the devil in me will now text my mates to see if they want to go on a date to watch the footy...

I'm guessing at this time of year, it's something in the Pavilion or Christmas market ?

Oooh, Mrs Columbo, you're good... But not that good. It wasn't. But, that being said, I think Christmas fairs are more of a coupley activity than a mates one.

Tempted?

I want someone to go and see the new Paddington film with - I wouldn't call it a date night though.

Despite my jibe at them being a bit inbred I too like the town and have spent many a day or evening there... Not sure I'd move there but happy to stay over when you do.
