Has anyone met because of a forum post?

Genuinely curious about this, I just saw a response on a post where someone commented that if it wasn't for the forum they would likely have only had a handful of meets otherwise. (Not quoting them verbatim)
It got me thinking, We have never had a meet resulting from a post or conversation had on the forums. Whats others experience regarding this?

Not because of a post, no. But majority of my recent meets, whether social or for filthy fun is because we both caught rach others attention via the forums. Honestly the forums have helped give me success. |

I've met people I've messaged because I've seen them on the forums, but not because of a post or thread. In fact, I think everyone I have met off the forums I thought they were a bit of a dick to start with because of their posts. |

I think there's 3 people that I wouldn't have met without the forums. Distance and such meaning we'd have been unlikely to cross paths elsewhere on the site.
But, you get to see a little of someone, maybe it's worth a little more travelling than you'd normally entertain 💜 |

Have met a number of people as a result of connecting in the Forum. From my previous experience on Fab (having only just returned to Fab in the last few weeks) I have definitely had more people make contact when I have been active in the Forum. |

Interesting to hear others experiences. I think our play dynamic is more likely the reason that nothing has come from forums. I've noticed that us forumites are an optionted bunch. I'm aware that most people assume how we play is all my husband's decision regardless of what is written on our profile, simply because that is the case with a lot of couples. Most ladles dismiss us right off the bat as they think our play dynamic is due to a jealous controlling husband. We have had ladies explain that's why they aren't interested in us, and even after I explain that this is definitely not the case. Obviously, people are free to do and think whatever they want but it is frustrating to be constantly misunderstood. Sorry, went off on a bit of a tangent there! Lol

Anyway, it's happened. I like that the conversations feel less pressure. Less like they're trying to fuck straight off the bat. That might be delusion though. |

A proportion of my engagements (sexual, platonic/social) have been on the back of the fora where, having 'seen' me participating on various threads, they** messaged me and things progressed from there.

However, OP, if I interpret your query literally then a handful of my socials/dates have been because of something I said on the fora or a thread I created. I used to host the Nocturnal Thread and many a tryst was born from there (Gosh, I miss the halcyon days!). |
