I often see posts of women asking about wanting 8+ inch willys and won’t accept anything else on here and I often wonder if a guy was so specific about what they want, how that would go down- for instance if a guy posted he wanted a size 10 and no more required, is that also just acceptable or would people get offended because it’s quite an excluding comment- if you would get offended- why is it ok for women to be so specific? |

I really don't see it often OP. Perhaps it's both of our confirmation biases coming in to play.
Men do request size. I've seen men saying they're only attracted to women who are under a size 14. Gym fit women. One profile has that he's looking for women no larger than a size 10. You have men who proudly state they want bigger women, even in their profile names.
So I suppose it's down to what you want. What's important to you. If it is, put it down. |

Things that attract us, should never cause offense to people not meeting that criteria. But...it does way too often, I look for picky guys, I like that quality in them. But all this exclusivity in sexual attraction is bollocks, I have no urge to list why I am not attracted to something. As we are all to often shamed into hiding our preferences.
Anyhoo, I'm waffling. Men and women should both, be able to be honest as to what arouses them, on their profile, without fear of ostracization. |

It's very rare I have seen posts like this and then they will say their a size queen so that is self explanatory.
People have their preferences you will see size queens and men wanting bbw and women wanting big bearded men their is someone out their for everyone.
Just focus on those who you think suits you best instead of worrying about those that don't. |

But many request 6' in height
There are many shallow people on this forum and when I see specifics like these I simply block the profile as you know very well what they will be like. |

It’s nothing personal or a slight on anyone who doesn’t match what they are looking for.
Everyone has a right to state their preferences in a respectful manner.
It’s the same if anyone prefers gym fit over dad bods or curvy.
Or if some women like VWE and others prefer above average with nice girth.
I don’t see it as right or wrong unless someone is insulting them for not being their type. |

If someone’s wants are narrow then I’d much rather they state the fact on their profile. In the same way I wouldn’t message someone wanting only size 10 ladies, if you don’t fit their criteria why bother messaging? |

Men are allowed to be specific and have their preferences the same as everyone else. I'm confused as to you think they aren't?
It's usually men who are complaining about women being specific about their preference (such as this post) and I've literally never seen a woman make a post complaining about a man being specific or exclusionary.

In answer to the op. I like it when men are specific. I like a man who knows what he wants and won’t accept anything. Each person is here for what they want. I have so many different preferences and things I don’t like that it borders on the ridiculous. But that’s ok  |

If people want to put specifics then that is up to them.
Personally, if someone has specifics that I match and they meet what I am looking for then I would probably say hi as they are more likely to respond positively. If they have specifics that I don’t meet or I don’t fancy them then I will pass.
That said, it is not uncommon for me to get requests from people who are looking for something that their profile says they don’t want so I generally treat specifics as superfluous text. |
