profiles without verifications

I don't treat them as a no go area. I just apply some extra caution and take longer to talk to them.
The loads of fake profiles are to blame for that tbh there have probably been a lot of genuine newbies join and leave because no one would take them on because people thought they were timewasters or whatever |

If they are fairly new then it would not necessary put me off, but if they have been on here for "over a year" then I probably would not meet.

That would be my question.
It comes down to lots of factors. Length of time on site - especially when profiles say they've been here before (surely it's relatively easy to get an old aquaintence to verify you?) - is the main one though. |

If they have been here 6 months or longer without one we tend to think of them as not serious about actual play mire into the idea but not actually up for meeting. |

I think the only option is to read profiles, strike up a conversation and see where it goes from there. After all, there are some verified folk on here I wouldn't touch with someone else's barge pole. |

I've had a meet but it was with someone who wasn't verified so we can't verify each other. So id say there's a few people on here who are genuine but can't verify due to the rules on here |

Interesting to read this thread as I have no veris - not because I haven't met a few people but because I don't like veris.
Why don't I like them ?
1) They are never anything but simperingly complimentary - too many people will write any old tosh in the hope that they'll receive equal praise in return.
2) They are misleading. Have you ever read one that read "she was 10 years older and 10 dress sizes larger than the woman in the pic that she sent me" ? No, you haven't, which is a shame because if you had, I'd have read it too, and I'd never have met her . . . |

I do have a couple of veris from when I very first started but never show them , you get a from me with this answer "
from me too. Heard of too many instances where the veri system has been abused - my partner came across one this week (must remember to help her report it) - to put too much faith in it, but... if someone has been on here six months or more and not got any at all, it does put a great big question mark in my mind about whether they are either not here really to meet, or are just the proverbial 'T' word... so I go very cautiously if I do talk to them. |

I didn't think the site was exclusively for the use of people who want to meet in person. And verifications are not the be all and end all of assessing the suitability of potential meets. |

lmao.
I have no verifications on here as i deleted my old profile for a while and then came back. I have a met a couple recently which also have no verifications because neither of us have been verified by verified users. Doesn't really matter to me but does to an awful lot of others |

whilst i have had a few meets, i am not bothered by the veri's. I would much rather have fun and a good time. oohhh well looks like it will get harder and harder to meet people.  |

in case anyone thinks that i'm a hypocrite . . .
i've revised my opinion about showing veris, although i still think that they're daft.
the logic is simple : there are clearly many people to whom veris matter, and i don't want to exclude myself from those people's company simply because we don't share the same view of veris. |

I've seen a few comments stating that veri's are irrelevant from people stating that they've had meets but don't want them or choose to show them.
Some of these comments came from those with little green ticks - some without.
Regardless of your view on visibility of veri's - does it not make sense to have that important little green tick, rather than just a green flag - or nothing?
There's nothing stopping someone hiding veri's. But whenever I hear the old 'Ive had meets but don't want veri's statement I get a tad suspicious that its not simply BS!
And since there's a filter option to block the unverified from messaging you - aren't people shooting themselves in the foot by not getting verified?
All seems a bit odd to me?  |

Makes no diff to us, as the truth be known we have never read any that say shit cpl or shit shag, so we can only presume that everyone that's has been verified must be the dogs bollocks and if you believe that you will believe anything |

Ive had 1 meet with a male couple when I was in my bi curious stage who would verify me.... but think it would look a little odd having it seeing as profile says im straight.... now that I know I am. |

See it how you prfer. I dont have verifications on mine mainly because I have not met anyone yet. It has been a case of not available for a meet cos of outside work commitments and also finding ladies that take enough interest in you for a meet within the short time I am on here.
I do however reply to forum topics I find interesting no matter where in the world I am.
So if there is a lady out there who find me nteresting enough for a drink or/and meet...do get in touch. You will be treated with respect either way |

Some thought my pics were fake!!??
Some even though i was photo verified were unsure because i wasnt verified in person... thankfully somebody took the plunge and gambled on me lol..... needless to say she was a very happy bunny after lol  |

I agree with you and I am not bothered either, all I was trying to say is that if the person finds it difficult to get veri from either meeting in person or because they do not have a cam, being photo verified is a start. It will mean nothing to some but may reassure others. |

I think it has some bearing on whether you send a message or not to that person. I've been on here a while now but had no joy with anyone. I'm not the best looking guy either so I don't think I have much hope really lol. |

We both have a single profile as well as our couples , we are doing he meets one she meets one , its simple
She has had her go but as a single guy it's really hard to meet someone local from here so we have given up and will only. Meet as a couple

I have no veri's and been here a while because of and injury which meant I couldn't meet and now it seems like a catch 22 ..Can't meet because no verification and can't be verified without a meet...may delete and re-do profile but will also be at AbFabs soon so hopefully someone says Hi |

Ok say a 4 month old unverified single man wouldn't be really questioned by us as being genuine. An unverified woman....well that's a different story. I wouldn't say its sexism but there is a different perspective. |
