Admission, repeat offender here. I know I'm extremely different now opposed to all those years ago.

So I ask, what would you tell your former fab self today, after the knowledge you've inhaled on the scene.

Just go for it.

I held back, over thought and generally lacked courage to do things I wanted to.

Sometimes it still happens though!

.

I don't think I'd tell myself anything really.

Maybe don't date one ex because that was a lot of unnecessary grief. But even with someone I'm currently dating, if I'd not chickened out all those years ago, if we'd been dating back then... maybe by now we wouldn't be together.

So I don't want to tell my former self to have more courage, more confidence, to stop putting people in a friend zone, to not meet someone because... well it's all led to here and it's not too bad a place. Oh, I'd tell myself how to get blood more easily for the test kits.

Don’t get in a relationship with someone on Fab who appears to be an enthusiastic swinger then immediately ditches the lifestyle when settled into coupledom…

The clubs aren't as intimidating as you think they will be. You'll both meet many awesome people and fall into your groove shortly after that.

Yes Juno, people absolutely find you desirable, male and female alike.

Some things should remain a fantasy and are better in your head than reality.

Join the forum quicker! I’ve met so many great people through the lounge and I missed out on that for years.

Stop worrying about being so good at sex, it’ll be fine.

Been on the scene with my wife for 27 years now. On Fab for about 12.

For me it would be don't waste your time on Fab trying to meet as either a couple or a solo male. Go to clubs and social events instead.

This isn't to say there's anything inherently wrong with Fab (it's just a tool at the end of the day) but men massively outnumber women (especially in my local area). On top of that, a lot of women and couples won't entertain married men (because the assumption is, you're cheating) and no matter how much men wish otherwise, women rarely just fall into your lap. You gotta do the work and thats easy to do face to face...not so much online.
