Cheese and chips tonight
Jump to: Newest in thread
I friend of ours owns/runs the local chippy, and she always has cheesy chips on the menu - they're quite popular with kids, but she can't stand them!
Funnily enough, we gave her an ice-maker earlier, and was given a slap-up dinner as a thanks. Let's hear it for sausage-in-batter! |

Our friend has the best chippy in town (and given that it's a seaside resort, there's fierce competition) and she only uses the best Maris Piper spuds for her chips.
She introduced liquor to the menu, and it's been ridiculously popular.
That's a thickened chicken & herb stock for the chips - nothing to do with "lick her", for those with a one-track mind. |

That does sound good, nothing like a good chippy. |

Most chip shops I've been in call it sausage in batter. Maybe battered sausage just makes for too easy a double-entendre. "
Right well over here just called battered sausages but, saying that would love couple of battered sausage hotdogs with cheese now lol |

"I’m a fan of chips and gravy.
Please don’t judge me "
I never understood this chips and gravy thing, even as a connoisseur of curry such as myself. Keep the two apart. They were never meant to be together. |
