I watched puppet master when I was about 9 at my sisters house I begged to be allowed to watch it then followed 3 years or so of having to sleep with the bedroom door open and the light on |

I used to watch the Hammer House of Horror films, with my Pap, on a Friday night... Probably from the age of about 6 or 7... There was a thing that put on XXX films on Fridays... Luckily they were always Horror films when we watched |

Not the whole movie, but fragments of Alien when I little enough that I’m not sure how old I was.
I also asked my folks to buy me the comic book of what turned out to be Alien. Used to read it on road trips about 7-8 years old. They were happy I was reading…
Love all the Alien & Predator stuff now. |

Lots of jump scare movies.
I was probably about 8 when "critters" came out, and younger when gremlins was released..
Probably considered comedy now but was scary to a little kid.
Sexual content I was likely sheltered from, as other than suggestive smooches of the bond films i don't remember much.
I was still a teen watching queer as folk...that was enlightening... |

That reminds me, when I was 8, I asked my dad if I could watch Aliens and he was fine with it as there was no sex in it |

One of the Emanuelle films.. 'remember it well because the challenge was to buy alcohol from the 'offy' across the road from the cinema, buy a ticket for the X rated film, smuggle the beers in and drink them during the film. |

Probably jaws, when I was about 5.
I still find the death scene of quint / robert shaw's character horrendous.
I recall sleeping in my mum & dad's bed afterwards.

I walked past the house where they filmed hellraiser a few months ago. It's in dollis hill / wimbledon / north London ..
It's a pretty big building, it's been modernised and split into apartments now.
-Still very recognisable though.

Ddd... Loved that film, on my mates mum's lounge... It was a double bill with the devil in miss Jones... Which was very disturbing... I vaguely recall she slit her wrists in the bath which wasn't horny at all. |
