All over

I am keen to see how quickly a thread can fill up. I will start timing as soon as I post this message. I will not post anything else to avoid being accused of cheating and filling up the thread with my own posts. I know, childish but so what?

Vaccines or ivermectin?

Benefits of immigration?

How do you get that other worldly Cheeto glow of their God king?

It's not really filling up fast enough. A thread like that would be filled in thirty minutes, complete with long posts that should be edited down, some outrage, some fallacies, some pretentious language...

We need more shock factor.

Yes, absolutely 😁 I've just completed a BA in Classical Studies, so the characters and myths are familiar. This is, by far, the best modern interpretation of the Greek myths I've watched, especially as it includes characters from Homer's epics. Dionysus was also one my faves. I liked how they portrayed him to be less gluttonous and more selfless. And Hera was the most fantastic bitch! Obvs I won't give any spoilers for anyone who hasn't watched it yet. No news if it's to be renewed for Season 2, but fingers crossed they do! I love it 😁

" And you totally deserve to be treated like one Glow darling If it wasn't for your thread, I would not have known about 'Kaos' 💋 and I have just binged all eight episodes, in one day 😁 I bloody love it ... we need Season 2 ASAP!!! Thank you Glow 😘

I loved loved loved how they reinterpreted the various gods and monsters yet they each still recognisable! My stand out faves from S1 were Dionysus and Medusa.

I love it 😁

I need to watch this.

Currently reading Stephen Fry’s Mythos…"

I admit to laziness and got the audio version. The second one, 'Heroes' is great too. Misty, if you love Mythos, you'll really enjoy Kaos 😁

We just finished watching the series on Friday night. It was brilliant. I just wish I'd heard how the names are pronounced before I read all the Percy Jackson books to my daughter. I read a few wrong "

I still get quite a few wrong, even after studying them so I liked how Kaos abbreviated some of their names for ease. Percy Jackson was also one of my son's favourites when the books first came out 😁

Ooh, enjoy 😁 I really wish Stephen Fry had written his version when I studied the Iliad at uni...some of it was really hard to understand in the original translation.

Then we can argue the toss over classics versus ancient history (I'm the latter), but the myths were my first love.

The myths have been my first love since the age of 11. I was getting bullied at school and did my best to get out of going, except for Thursday mornings...Greek Mythology with Mr Harding. Those classes made life a lot more bearable at the time.

My records are filed alphabetically by artist. Sometimes I’ve grouped solo work with the original group, but now it’s strictly alphabetical.

Books - well the fiction is (largely) alphabetical. Non-fiction is vague grouped by subject, by after that, all over the place.
