Ow do 😃
Like it says on the metaphorical tin; please give me examples of whom you believe to be the most overrated actors/actresses to have ever (dis)graced the profession.
Over to you my fine folks 🥳 |

"It pains me to say it but Keanu Reeves would feature high on my list.
A lovely bloke according to just about every source going but his acting range….?
Um….."
I was going to say the same thing about Keanu Reeves! And I was going to say Mark Wahlberg.
Also on my list are,
Vince Vaughn
Adam Sandler
Steven Seagal

"Jared bloody fucking shitting Leto"
I agree, although I don't think anyone thinks he's even an actual actor, let alone an overrated one. 😅
I've seen porn movies with better acting than his, nuff said.

Seagal….that permanent expression on his face that looks as though he is suffering from a particularly painful bout of trapped wind 😜

Vin Diesel.
A one trick pony if ever there was one.
I mean, in fairness I could say the same for many if not most action stars but at least the likes of Jason Statham, Stallone and big Arnie have some charisma at least. |

Sid James - he resolutely played himself in whatever he was in, with the exception of Hell Drivers. Whether it be Hancock, Carry On, Bless This House, he never ever played it any other way |

"Julia Roberts: except for Erin Brockovich, she only really plays herself.
Hugh Grant: same reasons, really, he only ever plays Hugh Grant.
"
90s Hugh grant, definitely.
He was excellent in 'The Gentlemen' |

"Sean Connery. Regardless of the role he's playing, he has that Scottish accent.
"
Highlander is great. A Scotman played by a Frenchman, an Egyptian played by Scotman and a Russian played by an American. |

you haven't!
Glorious bit of 80s cheese. The film is also soundtracked by Queen.
The rest of the films are 100% avoidable though |

My muay thai instructor did one of Christopher lamberts sword work on that film. If you look he has a really oversize shoulder piece for his kilt outfit. It's because my instructor was bent over behind him with his arm pushed forward.
I've also worked on the Jaguar aircraft that flew over the very last scene. |

I’ve seen a few I disagree with: it’s difficult to judge an actor by a single movie or series (judging by John wick only, keanu reeves would be absolutely terrible) but for many of them I’ve seen a few role where they showed their value.
Robert pattinson is the best Batman since Micheal keaton.
David tennant can play the evil psycho or the funny guy (and played both in his time as the doctor: he’s the only doctor that I would take seriously when was showing anger)
Julia Roberts plays Julia Roberts, but I suspect that’s what most directors ask her to do. In Erin brockovic she was brilliant.
If I have to say a name..it would be Emilia Clarke. In all the roles I’ve seen her she was quite embarrassing. But, much like Kiera knightley and gal gaso, she is so good looking that you tend to forgive her |

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Big fan of him as a wrestler and liked his movies too. I just think he plays the same character (he just plays himself) or does the same thing in every movie |

I agree with all the actors mentioned so far but is it a case once you see an actor twice you know their mannerisms and what they are bring to the table. Do they keep getting cased in very similar roles all the time? |
