Are you an "emotional thinker"??
By that I mean are you the type of person who makes decisions based on your "gut feeling".. the type who listens to your heart over what your mind is telling you?? x |

I am an emotional thinker.
I am trying not to be.
My whole work life is very process driven so I think that in some ways my emotions all come out when away from work and can be a big jumble which is confusing for me and others
I don’t want to be emotionless. Just understand that sometimes it’s better to wait before acting
I was told something recently
“Write the email, write the letter, write the text, save it, if you still feel the same way 24 hours later then send it” |

As someone who suffers from anhedonia it's ironic that I make so many decisions based on gut feeling but the vast majority of those have been correct.
Work related decisions are rarely emotional choices. |

"Definitely emotional thinker and decisions based on a feeling.
Life is a constant surprise so personally me and planning have parted ways!
Whatever the result, better to be all in I reckon.
"
I like your thinking |

Because for me it doesn’t always lead to the right decision |

I'm a cold logical mind thinker, not as bad as spock, but close.
I do listen to my gut feelings, but when working with the animals on the farm, feelings are compartmentalised as they need me, to always stand up and take action in an instant, when something happens |

I used to go head first into everything, then regret most of it, even if my gut was telling me if was a bad idea, now I listen to the gut lol.
We need a new washing machine, we have the money but I still don't know what my wage is for this month, I know it's going to be higher as it was a 5 week month but I also need brakes on my car and my eyes tested, in the past I would have got the machine and just hoped I'd get what I thought I was getting but being sensible until I know x |

I'm too overactive in the head. I have a chimp that constantly whispers crap in my ear and sends me into moments of hieghtened anxiety. I hate it |

I try to think logically most of the time and for the majority, I do make decisions with my head rather than my heart, but there occasions where I can't shift that gut feeling and find it can eventually make it's way out in some way or another. |

I haven't been, I often analyse a situation and make what I think is the right decision given all the data I have.
With hindsight, my life would have been different if I had paid attention to my gut so I'm trying to do that more now. |
