Is decaff coffee the greatest human invention?

No.
It can contain small amounts of methylene chloride.
It can result in higher concentrations of serum gastrin in your stomach.
NHS says it can lead to significant improvements in bladder control - doesn't seem like a great benefit to me. |

I drink in the main decaffeinated coffee and my recommendation is Lidl’s decaf ground coffee brand - to use in a plunger type caffitaire ( the french might say .”.avec le piston “
It’s excellent and I have tried lots / granulated is if your a black coffee drinker not that good
But this is very drinkable

Not a massive fan of decaf coffee. It seems that through the decaffeination process, it loses a bit of it's natural flavour so gets roasted a bit darker to make up for it. I've not found one that's really blown my mind. |

Not sure about mind blowing, but from an excellent roaster I do find they're up to the standard I expect.
I also drink milky instant decaf in the afternoon when I need to slow the caffeine roll and want something more substantial to drink than water. (Don't disown me 😅) |

I have BP issues because of my ADHD meds and used to drink 5-6 coffees a day…so decaf has helped to curve the craving but I would very much rather my coffee being caffeinated 
TL:DR Decaf coffee is a mean to an end of not having a stroke |
