Would you call yourself an artist? If so, what is your art?

Yes, I think I can.

My airbrushing of model kits would certainly come under art.

If you consider the written word to be art, then yes. I write poetry, stories and songs.

I'm a writer. I know it is a form of art, but I don't call myself an artist.

I sketch (very badly) so I wouldn’t call it art.

Merely a hobby I dabble in now and then.

I sold some art years ago. Acrylic on canvas. I’m not even that good but cashed in on the pop art stuff years ago.

I was always pretty good at painting backdrop scenery for the stage.

I used to think I was good at writing. Then I read some stuff by people online that are good at writing. Now I don’t describe myself as good at writing.

I’m officially and professionally a proper art school wanker. Would never say I’m an artist though. Very different things.

I enjoy working with charcoal - sketching mainly...just for fun. Have also done a bit of life modelling in the past...

The first sign of a good writer is someone who doubts they're good at writing.

Give me a stencil, some black paint and I could possibly knock out better shit than Banksy is at the moment.

yeah, my career is creative and outside of that I do photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, wood turning, jewellery making and God knows what else. I've lost track of it all over the years.

Sagittarius A

I think the work I do is as much a form of art as it is a science. Or at least it skims the boundary of both.

Other than that no, I appreciate art and admire artists. My creativity tends to rest in the domain of human interaction and problem-solving. I am quite a lateral thinker.

My daughters are very artistic and the things they produce often amaze me. Alas, I am not so gifted, beyond the infrequent stream of consciousness dabble.

I've had my art displayed in galleries, bars and even a museum. I'm not a professional, but I found a hole in the market for my type of art. And that's about as specific as I'll get on here

Pontefract

An absolute amateur, I paint portraits of friends in oil, sadly just haven't had much time to do it recently, but a few people on here have seen them. I've always given the painting to the person it's of and I refuse to accept any payment as its important to me for it to remain a hobby. I.e. I paint only what I want to paint, no responsibility to please anyone but myself.

Haringey

I think touch is an art

I love discovering how a lover experiences touch and then playing with that, creating an journey of sensations. I love teasing a lover's sounds and harmonies, hear the emotions in the harmony of brief baited breaths to deep drawn out groans and soaring screams..
