I've decided to refresh my profile text. Just because what was there was out of date and it needed a definite tidy up.
But as usual, I'm now having the hardest time writing a new one.
Don't know if it should have too much information or too little. Being too detailed might put off those that I could still get on well with.
And I don't want it looking like a sex CV.
There are certain things I like to do that numerous woman over the years have said I'm good at, but if I put that it just sounds like bragging and people would think it bullshit anyway.
I like to put in some humour, but do people then think it's not a serious profile.
So many questions!
Any thoughts or tips and hints out there? |

"Just write whatever you want "
Sound advice. Though some guys need to take less of that advice, since a lot of what they want often isn’t what the recipient wants |

I went down the humour route. Being funny is one of my best qualities, so there seemed little point in not putting that forward in my bio. The important thing is that it reflects you and communicates what you want to get across to potential matches. |

Ive tried witty and jokey…didnt work
I tried honesty and bluntness…didnt work
Tried staight to the point…didnt work.
Then realised nothing really works if ya dont appeal to anyone and do people even read them |

"Could you put some of the old stuff back on until you think of something new to write ?"
I don't save the old stuff and of course soon as I think it needs to change I go and delete what was there!🤦♂️ |

Write what you like.
You’ll never please everybody.
And if you started to write a profile from others suggestions…..you’re not describing you. You’re just writing what others wanna see.
Be yourself, own it. |
