List the films that moved you emotionally.
Last film I wept at was the pursuit of happiness after watching it for the first time beginning of this year. All though it doesn’t take me a lot to cry at films lol. |

I can only remember shedding proper tears to one film. I was 8 or 9 years old watching the 1965 film Shenandoah starring John Wayne.
The only other time I've come close was when I was 17 years old watching 1979's The Champ. I defy anyone with a beating heart not to be affected by the 9 year old Ricky Schroder at the end 😟

For various reasons, some obvious some not quite so :-
The Theory of Eveything.
Billy Elliot.
Love Actually (pretty much anything that includes Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell including After Life).
Schindlers List.
It's a Wonderfull Life.
Probably more that don't spring immediately to mind. |

True. Though it wasn't until a re-watch when I was older that I understood what happened when the deserters turned up at the farm when one son and his wife were alone.
I just remember crying when the youngest son turned up at the end and the light being turned on in my living room and me being embarrassed with having tears flowing down my face. |

Yep, same part of the film - then turned around to see my dad and brother both wiping their faces hard!! |

"Hate to admit to this, but I cried at the film Me Before You."
That's one film I cannot watch again. After being so close to death a little while back, being in a similar mindset then and watching that film...... Christ, crazy crazy emotions!

I cry at most things the list is probably to long for me to mention.
The latest one tho was when we went to watch Bob marley one love at the cinema.
It was a combination of how he used his music to try and bring a country together and how brilliant he was. |

Good to see people showing emotions flow while watching a good movie that they can sometimes identify with or not.
Makes us good humans.
Never ever cried before until I delt with certain life problems.
I'm happy I did as there's nothing more important than letting those emotions out... |

Wow, interesting yeah it's Watership Down (as a wee lad honest) and Green Mile for me too. Honestly thought I'd be on my own with the first one. Good to know!
Others that have bought a lump and had me close but can't remember any more tears.
Sure my lad said he blubbed at The Boy in the striped Pyjamas. Not seen it myself. Anyone else? |

"Went on a double date to see ET at the cinema. Two of the four were in floods when it looked like ET had died. The girls were not amused at us."
I watched this film over and over as a youngster and cried every time at that same scene when they zipped him up in the bag! |

At around 8yrs old I cried at the terminator because everyone was running away from him and I felt bad for him as I thought he just wanted to play.
I've never cried at a film since but came close when the little girl wanted to put the glasses on her friend at his funeral in My Girl... I didn't even watch the film I just caught that one scene as I was scrolling |

A star is born. I thought I’d gone to see a nice feel good romance F*ck me, I felt traumatised. Definitley shed a tear on that one!
And also, it ends with us. Because it was far too f*cking close to home and no one should ever have to go through that sh*t |

Cinema Paradiso, you have to understand the ending to know why it’s so powerful.
Any great emotional moment in film has to have three things, powerful music score, believable acting and a storyline that respects its audiences intelligence that has a moving ending without being superficial. |

Little known film called Soul Surfer.
Without spoiling it is about a young girl with all the attributes of becoming a champion surfer who while practicing one day is attacked by a shark and losing an arm. |

"I Am Legend. If you've seen it you know the part.
Didn't cry but I felt miserable after watching Ill Manors. It's a relentlessly miserable film.
Happy tears from Homeward Bound."
Ohhhh the dog scene!!! Yes yes!!!
Also another vote for The Green Mile |

Like, hundreds I would imagine. Some off the top of my head that made me do that mildly hyperventilating, ugly crying thing -
My Name is Joe
I, Daniel Blake
Breakfast on Pluto
The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas
Never Let Me Go
Atonement
A Star is Born
