We never keep rude photos on our phones for long. We take them and transfer them straight an external hard drive when we get home. If you lost your phone its very easy for whoever finds it to any files from it with a computer even if they don't know the access pin.

The police cannot seize your phone or ask you to unlock it unless you are under arrest. Exceptions are they have reasonable intelligence that you might be involved in terrorism in porn of underage type. Also if they have reason to believe that the phone you have was nicked
