First, you have to find a topic on the forums that's actually a coded message. Figure out the cipher it's using, and decode it to get a location.
Travel to that location and you'll see a man with a briefcase. Say "It's looking like rain." and he'll open the briefcase. Inside it will be a 5-digit number.
While you were away, a Fab agent will have placed a small lockbox in your home. It will open with the 5-digit number you got from the briefcase. Inside the lockbox will be a key and a geocaching puzzle. Complete the puzzle to find a box that the key unlocks.
Inside this box will be a business card. Go to the business on the card and tell the person behind the counter you're there for "today's special". They will let you into a secret room in the back, where a team of experts will give you a makeover and help you tailor your profile so that it appeals to every single user on the site. You will then be inundated with messages asking to meet.
Alternatively, realise that you're one man in a sea of thousands and sometimes no matter how carefully-tailored your profile or how meticulously-crafted your messages, you're just not going to make a wave in the ocean.
One thing that may help is to attend group socials in your area. You'll have the chance to present yourself in all your authenticity without the layer of anonymity and removal of context that Fab's chat function creates. |
