Many years ago I dabbled in swinging with my then partner. We joked about what would happen if we met someone we knew outside the lifestyle and that was part of the reason we chosen to travel to clubs and parties rather than explore the local scene.
However, at a house party we did bump into someone I knew, someone I worked with (but from a different office).
All very fun and friendly. We chatted and laughed about who else in the office could be perverts like us.
What experience do you have meeting someone you know from Vanillaville? |

A couple of years ago I bumped into one of my school teachers in a club, he recognised me and said hello, I didn't realise who he was at first or how he knew me till he said who he was, I have never exited a building so fast in my life! |

Not directly, but I had a social with someone a couple of weeks ago where it turned out we have 2 mutual Facebook friends, and my wife recently had a meet with a guy who turned out to have worked with my dad. |

This could have gotten so much creepier, I'm glad you left! |

"I bumped into a lad from my old unit when I was in a club. Once we got past the initial "oh god, is that you?" moment we did actually play "
I like how comfortable you both were with each other. Would you have played, if you were still working together?
In the spirit of fairness, I think I probably would. |

With that person in particular, probably - he was a decent guy with none of the attitude that all female squaddies are either sluts, lesbians or frigid.
Others, I would have avoided even with someone else's barge pole whether we were serving still or not based on that attitude above and being the type to carry that into interactions in real life. |
