"Way to much reading on people's profiles  "
I've seen more people who like getting a broader idea of who a person is from their bio than I have those who prefer brevity.
What does your bio actually tell anyone about you, OP? Two thirds of it is a legal disclaimer that does absolutely nothing. |

Mines been longer at times.
Probably never shorter.
If someone can't be arsed to read it then that's fine. That said, I suspect my target market is probably more used to reading as well as looking at pretty pics than certain demographics.
Seems to have worked well over the years and continues to so I'm unlikely to delete many of the words. |

Nope.
But there's a huge difference between 'succinct' and bare, or one that still has the stock profile wording of 'single/couple looking for.....' after a few years on site.
People can have whatever they choose on their profiles of course. |

I always read the Bio and make a decision about messaging from that .. frequently there's bits in there that exclude me so I don't bother wasting Her (or my) time by writing a Message and if I do send one it's got comments in responding to Bio comments so they know I've read it |
