Is it necessary to exchange face pictures before a meet ?
For us, we think yes. We like to know if there is a mutual attraction before we arrange a social/meet.
We're intrested in others opinions.

We definitely want to see before a meeting, in fact if we are chatting to a couple and the conversation looks like it's heading somewhere then we'd ask for a couples photo , recent and side by side. If they start making excuses then that little red flag appear ! |

Absolutely and for me quite early on. It’s not just about attraction - although that’s a small factor.
I need to be able to visualise who I’m conversing with. More sense of connection for me.

so it seem like you are all in agreement ? it's a yes.
So we have been chatting with a few couples and singles guys lately who won't/don't want to exchange face pictures before a meet.
We find this quite odd and have then cancelled the meet because for us, if are not attracted to you then it's just a waste of our time.
One couple in particular got very defensive about it saying that it's not common practice to exchange face pictures before a meet, but we always have xx |

Because some of us actually do picnics and wine...and årt, galleries and museums and so forth, and the sexual dalliances on the back of that are electrifying when there's a modicum of attraction and connection. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
I know some people are concerned about sending pictures, so we have done a quick video calls/webcam before a meet previously. Also less fussed if it's just a social and we're not travelling too far. In general though I think most people would want to see each other before taking the time to meet up.

We only meet with face pics. But I guess there are people who are only looking for a cock or fanny and don’t care less what they look like.
Those people are not for us. We want to have attraction to enhance our sex lives not just to have a shag. |

It's important to make your own rules and to enforce rigidly those that are red lines. We'll not know why others truly want to break our rules but they have shown that we're not compatible.
If you're going to meet at a club, socially, then it's a possibility but can still be a waste of your time doing this. I prefer to end engagement as soon as they don't want to honour my rules. |

Everyone can see my face in my public gallery, most of my recent pictures are even without any makeup! And I've never used filters.
I do understand those who are reluctant to put their faces on show, and I have occasionally met without quite knowing who will greet me when I open the door. But that's more a reflection of my periodic loneliness, not my preference.
I do think it extraordinary though, and very egotistical, of those on here who insist they must see photos of you before even starting to chat but state that they will never show face pictures of themselves even in private messages. That is their prerogative of course, but personally I would never demand something of a person that I was unwilling to do myself.
Anyway OP, if you have been conversing with someone and sent them your photos, there isn't any obligation for them to send photos back, but there certainly isn't any obligation for you to meet if you haven't seen pictures of them. And anybody that says "it's just for sex, you don't need to know what I look like", I think that I'd say to them "if it's just for sex then I'm happy with my vibrator, it doesn't treat me like trash, and at least I know what it looks like"! |

We like to swap pics early on as we like to see who we are chatting to.
If there’s reluctance or they state they won’t swap pics we won’t go further.
A deeper connection can’t be formed without face pics.
Unless I’m arranging a blindfold meet for C but even then I’ll insist on face pics as whilst C won’t see, I need to know they are going to be C’s type.

We’re happy to send face photos when it’s reciprocated, and find most people think along the same lines.

In my public gallery I have 3-4 clear face pictures which are two years old. I don’t believe I have changed that much but will probably delete them and put some new ones up.If I was asked to take a picture now and send it to that a lady or couple could decide if I was suitable for them then no problem I would take the pictures and forward them on. I think it’s important to send pictures so that everyone knows who they are meeting and what they look like. |

It's definitely necessary for me to exchange a few different face pics if I feel there some connection. I have to be physically attracted to someone as well as mentally other wise it's not going to work out |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
It's absolutely necessary
I hada bloke tell me years ago that I didn't need to see his face to meet for a drink. I just stopped chatting, liking someone's face is the most important thing to me.
So I wouldn't risk meeting anyone without knowing there was some attraction there. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
We pretty much exclusively meet in clubs on an ‘if you are there basis’
Of course we would prefer to share face pics in advance but if people don’t want to that’s fine. If there’s rejection in the club based off their looks, it’s there problem to deal with.
We’ve only had a few instances where people don’t want to exchange. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
For me it's not necessary because I usually chat for weeks or even months before meeting socially.
If I agree to meet someone it's because I like them as a person but that doesn't always mean I want to have sex with them so physical attraction is irrelevant.
Some people like to suggest that meeting without a facepic means you are happy to fuck anyone but that's just another fab generalisation.
The only reason I have ever exchanged a pic is so we will recognise one another in the coffee shop. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)

I've done first meets with and without pics. I find if I like someone when chatting enough to meet, how they look is a minor point and unlikely to change anything.

Absolutely I need a face pic for fab meets, have to be attracted to someone's face to consider shagging them.. Also, I once had to stop chatting to someone who was attractive to me but looked uncannily like a family member who bullied me as a child. I'll always send a face pic with my first message now, why not?
In a typical timescaled meeting have always received a face pic.
However I once met a couple in a spur of the moment type meet, I was that excited about the request that I didn't even think to ask for a face pic. I met them within an hour of the first message.
I was not disappointed in any way shape or form, they are an awesome couple and I am ever so glad I threw caution to the wind,😁

I have had blind meets with blokes (and one MMF)
I prefer to see pics and I prefer potential meets to see me
I've only had one get back in his van and drive off , so I can't be that bad, but still I'd sooner they have the opportunity to exercise their right to refuse well in advance of a physical meet |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
The thing is with face pictures they can be very deceiving, we have met people who their face pics don't do them justice and we have met other people who we have walked straight past as their photos were so heavily filtered.
We don't bother asking for face pics now as we find it pointless it's only a social after all. |

This is why we were asking, it's also good to get different points of view. Thank you for that.

I used to not care but from experience I don’t know if I like someone without a face picture
Eyes are my attraction that I like.
Sometimes also the chat goes on for weeks without sending a face picture, that’s just rude. Don’t expect anyone to fancy you if they’ve never seen your face |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
It's 100% a must for me.
Being attracted to someone's face is very important to me, more so than their body.
Tbh to prefer to know what someone looks like early into a chat |

Face pics are essential for me. I like to see who I'm chatting to and potentially meeting. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
This is a sensitive subject and not really fair to single guys. A lot of couples expect you to send and not reciprocate that act. That's where privacy for me is an issue. I'm not comfortable sending photos to strangers I've just met as a lot of them tend to be fakes or blokes pretending to be women and content collectors. Most of my meets come from parties and random socials. That's where I'm most comfortable. I'm happy to send once I'm comfortable with the person and gone thru the necessary verification steps. Many fall away before this is completed however which is fine. I just keep it moving and on to the next one. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
For me absolutely a must.
And also a call or FaceTime is ideal too.
Blind date went out the window a long time ago.
And personally I’m drawn to a mental connection, the face and hearing how they sound and present themselves in a big way.
And of course I need to know if there’s the physical attraction as well as the mental connection.
If there isn’t I’m probably going to go more limp than a tea soaked rich tea biscuit 😂 |

It makes it much easier to actually find the people you're supposed to be meeting with.
We have, in the past, arranged a meet with a couple, but when we arrived at the pub where we were meeting, we realised that we had never asked them for a face pic. Obviously, when we looked around the room, there were about 12 couples who they could have been. Thankfully, Anita's bright red hair was easier for them to spot, and they soon found us.

Abso-fucking-lutely!! If we don't get face and physique pictures early on we just don't engage. Arrogant as it may sound, we get sick of those who expect any different.
Personality and character comes later to determine whether we'd like to fuck them, sorry not sorry.
Frankly it's about attraction and that 'little extra' for us, we have enough friends we don't want to fuck.. 🤷😉 |

Just had the best one yet!! They winked, we winked, They messaged, we messaged (with vanilla pictures of us as a couple)
They responded with 2 vid clips 1 of him stroking his cock and 1 her fingering her pussy.
Stating "We don't send, face pics here is a couple of videos, but we'd still like to meet you."
Errr, that won't happen..

A fair comment and they could be from a decade ago or have a fantastic filter 🙄 However we prefer an inkling of whether we'd possibly find them attractive ☺️ |

We are quite protective of our identity but will generally exchange pics offsite before meeting. We need mutual attraction and the face is probably more important than the body it’s attached to. We have had one blind date though which was fun. |

For me, I would say yes. But I enjoy having a social, a good chat and a laugh etc. So yeah there has to be an attraction.
I don't think it'd be necessary for everyone though. Some people enjoy anonymous sex. Gh, Czech gh, masks, dogging etc. So they probably don't need a face pic. In fact having one may actually take something away from the encounter. |

I also insist on exchanging face pics before a meet, social or otherwise. If there is not even a spark of physical attraction, or at least no repulsion, there is little chance of anything else being fun.
Also, who are you meeting?. Have they lied in their profile and messages, posted fake photos or are they just Quasimodo's ugly cousin?.
Anyone who cannot or will not exchange face pics is hiding something. Avoid. |

80% agree. There are some people I build a lovely connection with and don't really wish to see their face as I've built a picture up and enjoy what we have. But, I guess these people tend to be at quite a bit of distance from me anyway (10 miles 😁) so the chances of realistically meeting are negligible. Locals (with all their limbs in the right place) attraction (certainly facially) is a must.
And before anyone clamours for their whistle and yellow card. I have been dropped and phased out upon the release of my fizzog so it cuts both ways. |

Yes we think it's important to exchange face pics beforehand. And way earlier in the process, too. Of course it's your right to ask for them in advance. And to have the option of saying yes no or no.
And if anything, it helps you recognise the couple if you're meeting in a club or public place. Rather than, you know, walking from table to table hoping to see an upside down pineapple charm bracelet...

It is for us if one is to happen, this is a swingers site or at least that's what the name implies, if we're going to meet for sex we would still like to be attracted them.
Our free time is limited so don't really have time for socials, so we usually meet socially, with the intention of taking things somewhere more private if everyone is still happy to. |
