I’m nice and will mostly reply to all messages. I don’t expect a guy to send me an essay like a CV.
I like getting to know them.
A face picture is ideal so not to waste each others time if wanting to meet.

For single guys?
First message doesn’t get a win but it can certainly get you a loss.
Women never read messages or profiles anyway. They are comparatively simple and visual creatures who respond better to pictures.
Much better off sending pictures |

I really enjoy responding to imaginative opening emails. I love to see personality coming through, and showing mine. But crass, obviously copied pasted, or just hi with nothing to respond to, gets deleted.
A polite message from someone I'm not into gets an equally polite thank you but no. |

Just a picture?
If it was that attractive I'd probably wander off to reverse image search it. Then shrug it off as obvious fake or possibly true and go read messages with actual text to respond to. |

They don't bother me to be honest as long as it's not a cock pic.
If I like the profile I'll reply if I don't I won't.
The 2nd and 3rd messages guage wheather we are going to get along or not, some are like pulling teeth.

First impressions count - whilst we don’t expect Shakespeare we would hope that someone reading our profile would think that they have a lot to mention.
A first message can help get you further but equally it can end it dead based on the content.
If someone sends dick pics then it’s an instant delete regardless.
