Tom hasn't posted about it so I'm still unsure if it even happened.
Ah, perhaps it is a hoax after all, orchestrated from Essex."
Do Essex have an Orchestra ? I don't think it's important enough for a musical yet ....... we have to let the story develop and git us some juicy exaggerations and characters in there |

You do know the shooter was a registered republican who was wearing a tshirt of a right wing pro-gun YouTube channel? |

Who exactly are the establishment exactly? |

The establishment is always exactly who you need it to be to smokescreen who everyone should really be angry at. Adjust it at will and as necessary. |

It's a generic catch-all term for anyone that doesn't align with their particular beliefs. A boogeyman.
The earth is flat too. |

"be interesting to hear who he blames/ accuses"
The talking point parroted by the useful idiots seems to be Joe Biden.
The political temperature has been rising in the US for decades. Something like this happening was inevitable*.
* please note that inevitable is not a synonym for good, planned, joyful, or whatever the fuck people want to read into what I'm saying. This is where the political trajectory was heading. That is all I'm saying. |

Who just so happened to accidently donate to democrats.
Yeh, it's not like he would register republican to vote against Trump in the primarys, is it. |

"Like I've been saying since it happened, I'm surprised something like this hasn't happened already with how volatile politics have gotten here in the US over the last several years."
Yes.
I like Vlad Vexler's take on it. That we need to tone down the rhetoric on all sides. Making politics existential leads to us seeing political opponents as enemy combatants who need to be annihilated at all costs - rather than the other side of an endeavour that we work on within a set of common rules. |

I think it's intentional - let the peasants fight while they clear out the silverware.
Most politics in most countries do this. |

Can only agree, we've seen MPs of our own murdered and some have left that public service rather than continue to receive death threats to themselves and their loved ones..
Even in this last general there has been violence towards them and no matter how we feel passionately about such things as our representation and those in opposition we should all without question condemn such acts..

I don't know enough to point fingers. I'm seeing some incredibly worrying rhetoric and a lot of conspiracy mongering. I'm sticking with a big fat "I don't know" and "I'm going to try to restrain myself until we do know more", because the last thing this bonfire of fear/anger/etc needs is more fuel. |

I just looked this up because I read you post about this multiple times.
According to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Voters Rights your statement is incorrect.
Pennsylvania has a closed primary system. This means that Republican voters can vote only for Republican candidates and Democratic voters can vote only for Democratic candidates.

I took it as the shooter voting against trump as a Republican candidate, so either was a republican who disliked Trump or a liberal who tried to stop Trump being a candidate.
Either way, the dude didn't like Trump. |

I believe it was faked to encourage support for him. It sounded like fireworks on the video I saw. I wouldn't wish the guy dead, but I don't think he would be a better president than he was before. |

It's all smoke and mirrors.
I'm trying hard not to be a conspiracy theorist.
But I want to be reassured that the line from the shooter to the dead man in the stands was indeed a straight line with trumps ear in the way |

I'm gonna sound like a right nut job now....
I wouldn't be surprised if this was all a hoax and he had some device to press when the timing was right to look like had been shot, if he really had been would he have really punched the air? But then it is trump.
I tend to stay away from all this but Rubik keeps up to date with stuff going on and I wouldn't be surprised if true, if there was more attempts given the stuff he wants to do in terms of law etc. |

The Right wing of American politics have stirred up hatred for years. "
So have the Left, after Biden's car crash of a debate, he stated that Trump will be on a bullseye. I am sure he did not mean it literally but somebody else sure took it that way. |

The shooter had blanks.
He was a republican.
He was told he would be OK and this would help Trump get elected and would be given a job at The White House.
Planned by Trumps team.
Police, SS allowed the shooter onto the roof even after being warned by spectators.
Trump hit by glass shards which was shot by a 2nd sniper or possibly fake blood added when he was covered by SS.
The SS sniper that took out the shooter had him in his scope and let him take the blank shot before taking him out.
SOLVED.
I'm going into hiding now.

Like all of us I don’t have all the details but what’s puzzling me is that this guy was able to get onto the roof of the adjacent building, set up his gun and get a shot off without being noticed by the surrounding armed special security who are supposedly scanning the scene at all times? |

A fuck up which will cost I think the current head of the secret service their job, had the kid had a hunting rifle and decent scope the story would have been very different..
Be interesting to find out if the pre planning did have such basics as a specific Comms channel for the actual event or were the local law enforcement having to go to a local shared command centre .. |

Rumours from his past class mates the "shooter" was a poor marksman in college.
Would he have been better off going for a target like the body rather than the head as the head moves alot and the body is a bigger mass and tends not to move much.

I would doubt he was of a marksman standard and it's just his mates inundated by the media and talking it up..
And yes torso is the better option for anyone doing that.. |

People suggest this may be a setup because state propaganda gives this false impression that the state is all powerful. It doesn't matter how good any security is, all it takes is one mistake to happen at the wrong time.
A bystander was still killed, and two others may still succumb at this rate. What's disgusting is how politicians are only now trying to suggest all sides lower the rhetoric. |
