So I met someone of here on Wednesday for a coffee, went amazing. We arranged to meet tonight. He booked the table showed me the confirmation and sent me the postcode. I got there 10 mins early as I always like to be punctual. But after sitting in my car for 25 mins I came to realise that I'd been stood up. I called he didn't answer and I went to text and id been blocked. Is this a common thing on here? To actually leave someone stood in a carpark for 25 mins knowing your not coming

Agree with the others, that's detestable

You do need caution here, with reliability. I insist on them fulfilling a series of confirmations, before an actual meeting, as it's too easy for people not to take responsibility.

Report the user to Admin, to potentially prevent them from repeating it easily

That's the part that perplexes me. This would be one thing for a first-time meet, but he did this having already spent time with you that by all appearances went really well?

me & the Mrs arranged a meet and on the drive to meet him chatted on WhatsApp, it was all flirting talk, we was on the road about half an hour - he had given us a postcode and we arrived, the fella asked us to send our location via WhatsApp, I think he replied "nice" and yeah that was the last contact we had with him ffs. So sorry to hear about your experience.

I know it doesn’t feel like it right now but please be assured it’s got nothing to do with you. Absolutely nothing. Don’t let anyone to knock your confidence out.

Tells you everything you need to know about them.

Unfortunately it’s quite common, happened to me very recently and in very similar circumstances.

I was waiting for him to let me know what time exactly we’re meeting but haven’t heard anything.

Next day there were glowing veris from someone he chose to meet instead.

I’m not sure I will be able ever meet anyone again. It fucking hurts even if everyone is saying “get over it”.

I've had 3 females stood me up, it hurts especially when they tell you where to meet then dont turn up and it's always somewhere public where people around probably guess what's happening with me looking like a lost sheep.

It dents my confidence.

Is there any point reporting the user to admin? What can they do about it?

I had one this week. Arranged to meet on Thursday, she said could we have sushi, so I got that in (don't really like sushi, prefer Thai). She had the address, agreed the time, but then went silent and never turned up. She's been online since, but no communication, apology, etc.
