A wretched hive of scum and villainy |
"The Batman. Hated the idea of it, thought Twilight bloke was an awful casting, turned out to be a spectacular film"
Agreed. The bit at the start with the criminals terrified to walk down an alley, just in case, was a nice touch |

Gin and tonic.
Having sneaky sips out of the drinks cabinet when I was a kid really put me off gin. Then I lived somewhere with lots of cocktail events every evening and there was always G&T and now I fuhing love em. |

I know that now!
I first clapped eyes on him in Atonement and was repulsed and couldn't look at him for ages. Then I gave Sherlock a try and have adored him ever since |

Bloke in my street had a Rottweiler that scared me to death as a kid. I definitely didn’t cry when it came near me, honestly. But the older I’ve got I’ve found life is better with a dog |

American Baseball.
Never been to any sports match in my life of any type. I was visiting the US on work, and my host family took me to "The Game". I could hardly refuse out of politeness. It wasn't a major match, just a local team playing another local team, but in a honking great stadium nonetheless.
.
I didn't understand the rules, nor was I interested or excited by the action of the players.
.
What I did enjoy was the whole vibe of the game.
1. No alcohol allowed in the stands.
2. Stands were full of whole families, mum / dad / grandparents / grandchildren
3. Everyone was smiling and in a good mood
4. Ignoring the game, there was intermissions for the kiddies and clowns and the like came on the pitch. (get your mind out of the gutter).
5. One pulled a hot dog stand around the pitch and lobbed foil-wrapped hotdogs at youngsters. Wacky zany music. Crazy clown antics.
6. It was just a good, wholesome, family show. No violence, cussing, or trouble of any kind.
.
That's what I enjoyed and I am so glad I went in the end. |

1) Olives - used to hate them, now can't get enough. Further if you have ever tried Pakistani pickle made from green olives is the dogs bollocks.
2) cunnilingus - seeing a woman moan made all the difference
3) foreign movies - used to think garbage, but some really good ones out there. |
