Somewhere In The Ether…

Ey up again good folks

By Jesus! It has come to my attention that my illustrious crown of the most boring bugger on the site is being challenged!

Needless to say, I cannot and will not allow this to stand and as a result I must hereby defend my esteemed title tooth and claw and by hook or by crook and with my balls out!

With the above in mind therefore:

What type of milk do you prefer?

Skimmed? Semi-skimmed?

Full fat?

Possibly you are lactose intolerant, vegan or a Beatnik and thus opt for oat milk, soy or another alternative to udder juice?

Pray do reveal all here my fine people

Of the 'alternatives' coconut milk is the only one I find tolerable. The tinned stuff is good for cooking with though.

Hate milk, even just watching others drink it , although I'm fine with banana flavoured milk.

Think it's trauma from being at infants school and being forced to drink the free milk we used to have , it made me feel unwell but because the government said children had to have it the school made me have half in the morning and the other half in the afternoon after it had been left out the fridge for hours

This is half true. It was actually when she was education minister in the very early 70s, way before she was PM, when she banned schools from giving out free milk. I assume it was to save money. However I went to primary school in the 80s and we got milk then once a week, but I'm reckoning it was paid for by parents rather than the local governments.

Think I might challenging OP for most boring poster on the forums with this one.

Lactose intolerant here, so it's either Lactofree semi skimmed or Alpro soya. I can tolerate an oat milk latte but anything other than soya is naff for porridge, cereal etc.

For those that like semi why not buy full fat and water it down one to one to get semi. For that red stuff you could just water it down again.

The fat levels in proper full fat milk give me bellyache. That's after the no-lactose situation is dealt with. So no thanks.

I can't eat anything that's greasy/very high fat for the same reason. And no, I don't have gallstones or similar.

Well this might make you even hornier

Although they stopped free milk, they didn't stop it completely in

1978 Free milk could be provided for 7-12 years for low income families dependent upon Income Support and then 1986 they stopped local authorities using state funds to provide school milk.

Speaking at gym club I offered the ladies a drink that was 97% fat-free had all the minerals and vitamins that the body requires in the correct quantities and rehydrated the body better than any other drink available and was as cheap as bottled water, it took them awhile before they realised it was good wholesome milk, why should it be cheaper than water?
