Somewhere In The Ether…

Sweet Jesus!

Someone please answer me this:

Why does my hayfever always come on much worse AFTER I’ve had a bath or shower?

It defies all logic surely?!

Peace

Or when you've got a hot date lined up and half hour before you turn into a snotty, eye streaming piece of goop!

I am finding exactly the same this year. No help I know. But solidarity.

Was sure I had seen this question only a few days ago - but must have dreamt it! Did you know there are over 30 threads on hayfever in the Forum?

Hayfever can defy logic. Sometimes I can be really suffering, but found when I go outside it eases or even stops. Go figure.

Because you're allergic to something you're using in the bath or shower?

"Because you're allergic to something you're using in the bath or shower?"

I've just googled it as I get the same, and there are no satisfactory answers so I'll make one up....

When your skin is wet it emits a high frequency rendition of "The Age of Aquarius" that the human ear cannot detect. The pollen particles are so enamoured of the music that they immediately rush to the source for a gangbang.

I’ll confess, I believe it was me who previously asked it

Consider this a cheap Hollywood remake

Do you open the bathroom windows while you are showering?

The steam is going to open up your sinuses and let more pollen in so if your window is open it will flood in.

My solution would be don't shower until September.

This sounds entirely scientifically plausible to me.

Yes….I’m going with this

By September the sheer smell I will be emitting should deter all pollen particles…

I seem to be suffering worse on rainy days. Bizarre. There’s pollen in the raindrops! Witchcraft is surely the only explanation.
