I doubt it’s a turn on for anyone. It’s extremely difficult to be erotic with words, and even fine writers fail more often than not. Why do they do it? Because they are misguided. Somewhere down the line, they heard that women like this sort thing. For most, I suspect the intention is sincere, but the execution is crass. Pity them if you must, educate them if you’re feeling generous, block them if you can’t be arsed, but try not to think badly of them. Some men, a lot of men, have never been gifted the tools to navigate the mating game, especially online. Xx |
