I struggle to draw much of a distinction. I obviously have friends who are not lovers, but I’ve never had a lover who I didn’t also consider a friend. Both positions require trust, empathy, compassion, respect, some degree of vulnerability and a willingness to devote at least some time and energy. Xx |

I am not a lover as I would have to love that person, so that's not an option.
About 10 years ago I cut out 99% of people out of my life, the best thing I ever did, so not a friend.
Happy on my own. |

I'd like to say this but unfortunately I've been played by a few who I deemed as a friend and as a lover but they were only friends long enough to fuck and fuck me over in the process. |

Me n the wife were good friends for 3 years before we got together, knowing each other's girl n boy friends n now 35 years on we still class each other as best friends aswell as husband n wife. |
