An alternative to paper straws!
Sitting here with my caramal iced latte, which i failed to calorie count, actually there's no calories because the fucking straw keeps jamming!
The end is soggy, and we all know what a soggy end leads to!
Oh and the litter collector keeps taking to me!
I want to roast in peace in my car DRINKING my iced caramal latte.
Bring back plastic!

Agreed! I went through too many paper straws last time I was at the pub.
I hate the feel of a metal straw and can't get used to it.

When I worked in a nursing home, my friend, gave me a box of the plastic straws, still got half the box, hundreds of them. Not keen on metal straws, you know when you taste pepsi from a can/bottle/glass...that and yes I do reuse the plastic straws a few times, I don't just bin it, I remember when I was a kid and being taught to reuse them. |

It's the keeping it with you past that doesn't usually work. I've now got bales of bags for life and yet every time I'm standing at the check out they are either in the car or at home
A straw wouldn't stand a chance - plus those ice-cream/milkshake ones are alot bigger diameter than normal ones. Oh and only half the population carry hand baggage |

You can still get plastic ones on eBay it’s where I buy mine but I do agree bring them back when the majority of food from the supermarkets are still wrapped in plastic but they charge you for a plastic bag |

Absolute fucking joke. Because of the paper straw I can not drink McDonald’s strawberry milkshake, It’s pointless, as the straw melts before the ice cream, it’s un-drinkable and I don’t like it, and self entitled me doesn’t care about dolphins I want a plastic straw.

To enhance that wonderful feeling of brain freeze I use a approx 200mm of garden hose as a straw
You will find it works incredibly well - you need to be a good “sucker” to make the fredo liquid move up the pipe but it’s worth it ..
Plus you can get the pipe ( so sorry straw ) in yellow or green generally. |
