When we have a party we always put out some 'beige' party food - chicken things, sausage rolls, crisps, quiche, pizza, etc. Our friends often bring contributions and they bring whatever they're drinking.

Depends on the time of the party. But normally there will be a stew in pot of some sort on the hob.

Although, Wednesday I went to a celebration with a load of Nigerian and Botswanan people, and was given a bag of food and a big carton of orange juice to take home.

Although I think the food really depends on the party. Student/young people party where the aim is getting pissed and getting a fumble, crisps minimum. Family party, buffet.

Big man, you already know how it goes already.

I love our parties.

Always go on till the early ours

You see people you haven't in the longest

There's always that one person (usually me) that brings one mad drink that no one at the party has heard of

There is always food from start to end

There's always plenty leftovers to take home

The vibes are great and so is the music

Always go on till the early ours

You see people you haven't in the longest

There's always that one person (usually me) that brings one mad drink that no one at the party has heard of

There is always food from start to end

There's always plenty leftovers to take home

The vibes are great and so is the music

You forgot booty shaking, disappointed

Come on now

You know that goes without saying"

Excellent and star gazing please

"Nah I don’t eat food fingered by people who don’t wash their hands after a piss.

The mr

this is true. you'll be surprised what germs etc people pick up from this. "

Kids of the 60s/80s/80s managed to survive and probably have stronger constitutions due to a few germs.

I remember eating a hard boiled egg at a picnic as a kid, which was grey, as we'd been playing in the woods before hand. No such thing as baby wipes or hand sanitiser gel back then!!

If there aren't any Vol-au-vants then it's not a proper party.

It depends on the party and what's communicated. It could be right for guests to supply the food

The last party I hosted had too much food. I ended up sending ateendees home with bags of food and drinks.

I’ve never had the hedgehog and pineapple thing and don’t reckon I ever will.

Jelly and ice cream is another weird party concoction I’ll never eat.

I’m very surprised at level of catering demanded.

Guess times have changed.

I think it depends on the type of party too.

It would be silly to expect a full buffet with server if you’re going ti a wine and nibbles party.

But we’re worried about this after the exchange of intimate body fluids

Most of us are just hankering after a 1980s style birthday party for nostalgia purposes. It's like when the oldies reminisce about the good old days and go round trying to catch measles and whooping cough

Covent Garden

I expect lashings of ginger beer, lemon sherbets, cucumber sandwiches, jelly tots, french fancies and bottomless Mr. Whippy ice cream.

Is that too much to expect?
