No. For the simple reason, I lose our break every pair of glasses I’ve ever had.
There was one time that I bought an expensive pair of Sunnies. Over £100 for a holiday in Greece. They are currently lying at the bottom of that sea. And I swore from that day, I will never pay more than £2.
I’ve thrown them in Bins, sat on them, mowed them (yes, you read that right I’m mowed over a pair of glasses) so the cheaper the better.
Narrator- as Woody finishes his little rant, we look towards his eye glasses. He is wearing and notice an expensive pair where he paid extra for reactive lenses…. |

Never paid more than £20 for a pair but they have to be polarised.
Last time I got new glasses I took advantage of the free second pair offer and went for the sunglasses option but I really only use those for driving. |

Yup. One of the few things I happily buy expensive. I usually buy Raybans as I prefer them for driving.
That said when I say usually I take care of them so have bought maybe 5 pairs in the last 20 years

i used to have rayban aviators - a works purchase - broke when the car was written off - cried more about the raybans than the car
no any that i pick up around the house as my kid is an avid collector so have every conceivable colour known to mankind |

I did this time, yes. My last pair were from the Tesco optician (non prescription) on a deal thingy and they've lasted a good 10+ years, but they are beyond repair. So, last time we went on holiday, I treated myself to some fancy ones from duty free but a bit cheaper than if they were in the shops. I felt REALLY decadent spending £120 on sunglasses
I only have the one pair and I'll wear 'em and repair 'em till they're beyond fixing. |

I wear glasses most of the time so they are wasted on me but I purchased a 97p pair from Temu for our holiday, I thought if I lose them or break them it's not the end of the world, they came back in one piece and look amazing on my head! |

"Used to be cheap primarni ones til I needed varifocals and wear my glasses pretty much full time. So sporting a nice designer pair (work perks help with the cost)

I’ve got some Oakley inmates (Denzel Washington wears them in book of Eli)which were 180 quid but I’ve recently got a fake pair off Temu for 8 quid and they are exactly the same shape so I wear the 8 pound ones |

I can't be fussed with contact lenses and wear spectacles. I have a special pair of sun glasses that are designed to fit over my existing pair of specs. They aren't clip on ones just a slightly larger than normal pair. |

Mr is an absolute sucker for a pair of decent sunglasses! He usually buys a new pair every year, although he does wear them pretty much 9 out of 12 months, due to his bright blue eyes!
He's got about 10 pairs stashed away! I'm only just getting into them, and have about 3 decent pairs. They're our little summer treat every year |

"I hope 'Sunnies' isn't another of those awful Australian diminutives?*
They completely put me off going anywhere near that country!
*Adding an Australian question mark for emphasis." sorry my friend may well be . A failure on my behalf |
