There's a thick blanket of snow outside and it's still falling. I went out into the garden to look back at the house with all it's Xmas lights in the windows and it pretty much looks like a picture postcard.

I've got Take That on the telly.

Jason's gone for pizza.

I've got my fluffy slippers on.

The bulk of my soldiers have either flown out to Afghan or are their christmas break, so I can get finally some work done!!

No parties to organise, no kids to sort out (all going to my parents this year).

All my christmas shopping been done and wrapped for weeks.

AND

I booked our holiday today. 14 nights in egypt from 1 March..........
