Does being polite to others help you get on in life?
Does a simple please and thank you go a long way?
Or is it just a waste of time?
In the interests of scientific study I thought I’d put it to the test!
So, can you send boobies to my inbox PLEASE?
Thank you!

"My superficial answer is yes. I’m not going to give my deep answer. "
Yes being polite helps you in life, or yes you’re going to send boobies to my inbox?

Dear Daniel OP.
Thank you for your polite request for boobie pictures but but I very politely declined as I fear seeing my old saggy boobie would distress you.
Kind Regards cherry xx |

Wherever I lay my hat |
Being polite is never a waste of time. I haven't used it to get on in life but I have found that I have been respected for treating others respectfully even when the circumstances have been challenging or I felt like giving them a piece of my mind. |

Being polite isn't a lot to ask or expect in general.
But sticking a please on an utterly disgusting request doesn't make it less gross.
And getting upset when someone doesn't say Thank you for something you've infected upon them without consent is also rubbish.
Manners help.
Some people are beyond that level of help. |

I don’t know if it helps me in life, I’ve only ever known one way.
It definitely goes a long way with me. I know if you’re polite or not. Please/thank yous/apologies/nice greetings etc, It speaks volumes to how likable a person could be

"To those that are doing things for me or could do, then yes.
I hate people who can't even say a thankyou to waiters or people on checkouts. "
I'm definitely a please and thankyou kinda bloke, I even hold a door open for a woman or elderly, well anyone for that matter lmao , |

my favourite mantra to my kid - no one died from good manners. I like to think i am polite and i smile a lot - and thats for me and if other people like it thats good, if they dont, thats not on me

Just a *polite* reminder that this is a thinly disguised “send boobies” thread.
Although it is genuinely pleasing to hear how well mannered you all are! Keep up the good work |
