My reluctant favourite too. And I make a damn good fluffy sponge. 
Other puddings and afters do not qualify as cake. Or i’d choose a Trifle or something. |

This is true but just discovered I had a luxury almond top stollen left from xmas. Not sure how but anyway just had a very large piece of that. UBD said Feb 24 but it seems and tastes great. If I am not on for the 8.00 clock 'You match' thread I promised you tomorrow night, you know why.  |

Pretty much any cake is good, but my favourite is birthday cake. By which I mean, the kind of shop bought sponge with jam and white icing I used to get as a child. It’s never quite the same these days!

I don't eat cake having said that i like a nice moist cake once in a blue moon my local coffee shop does a rainbow cake and various others including a courgette and something cake they look lovely  |

It would be a rare day I’d say no to cake tbh but Black Forest gateaux or carrot cake (with proper cream cheese frosting) have to be up there as favourites.
But let’s face, if someone offers me cake I’m not going to say no because it happens to be a lemon drizzle or something instead |
