Depends on the person. If it’s someone I know full on round the neck full squeeze embrace. If it’s a woman I know well and know that she likes it maybe even a bum squeeze too
Otherwise a half way mid back sort of hug, and if if the person goes more deep hug I’ll join in |

It depends on the person and situation. The Mr is privy to all types of hugs, whatever suits the occasion. An acquaintance may only receive one type, even if that.

For a proper hug from me it's 1 over the shoulder, the other round the waist, both arms meeting around the middle of the back. A big bear hug squeeze with my cheek nuzzled on the top of her head if she's shorter than me. Been told I give the best hugs so many times |

Depends on the person I'm engaging with, follow what they feel comfortable with, be it a crisscross, waist, bear hug, etc. certainly not shy. Luv all styles of hugs. |
