When my mum passed I told her mobile phone company that i wanted to sort the bill.
I explained to the lady at customer service that for the last 6 months when i was at hers I'd hold the phone near her on speaker phone so that she could hear what her friends were saying, she had late stage parkinsonism, so couldn't respond. She could understand though..
The lady replied " I hope that you have people in your life that will do that for you."
Sometimes strangers / people you dont know are the most profound. |
