One of mine was Harry Potter, the way they dressed them all old and boring to drop their kids at the train station!
And law abiding citizen! He was a hero!
And basically the whole of Interstellar |

The Great Silence.
It’s a spaghetti Western featuring probably the most miserable bloody ending ever.
The hero gets murdered. His girlfriend gets murdered.
Then, to top it all off and if that wasn’t miserable enough, all the hostages they were trying to rescue are all murdered |

Pretty in Pink. Nearly 40 years on I am furious that Molly Ringwald’s character goes off with the rich sleezebag, despite being treated atrociously, and doesn’t end up with the loyal friend who truly loves her. |

"Titanic
They could have given it more positive vibes "
85 years later when they made the film they knew there would be an iceberg. They could have at least avoided it and made sure everybody arrived America safely….. |

"The Michael Douglas thriller, The Game.
A fantastic film….until that was, the big reveal at the end which was frankly intellectually fucking insulting "
Do you think so?
I really enjoyed the ending, a great film! |

The Departed, an absolutely amazing film with a cast and sound track to boot, until the last five minutes; it’s as though nobody could think of an ending so let’s just shoot everyone!
Ridiculous waste of talent! |

"I Am Legend', before Will Smith became a slapper...
The (very short) book p×sses all over it. "
I was scrolling to see if anyone else had put this up before posting.
What was a great film just trailed off in an instant with a wishy-washy spiritual ending….i now rewatch to just before that part and then turn it off. |

I'm guessing Titanic 2 was panned, with that synopsis, as they grossed so much Dosh with the first.
I guess if it had been a US ship, not made in the UK, a positive world beating message would definitely have been incorporated.
They got the ending so wrong though. They could have even have had it become a space ship and got it to go to the moon, decades before the Apollo programme. Leonardo DiCaprio's role as first man on the moon, instead of cold in the water. They could have had dozens of positive sequels but they got lazy

They did get lazy, didn't they?
Coulda looked at the endless Halloween franchise and thought: 'Show me the money.'
Fucking Hollywood, right?

Absolutely.
I was 19 when I first saw it. I was a loyal friend to many, yet still a virgin until I was 20 |

"Anyone for the original Jacob's Ladder?
Good, creepy piece, thoroughly ruined by (I think), wee Macauley Culkin on that stairway to Heaven: the dvd player nearly got the boot at that point "
The ending is the only disappointing thing about that film, I still love it tho! |

Have never made it to the end. (Jane)
It’s the one and only film that can send me off to sleep.
Even drank a lot of coffee before watching once to win a bet and still failed lol.
Is it a good film, apart from the end? |

Not just the ending but the entire film, just doesn't do the story, characters or entire book justice.
Beautiful Disaster
The book is really good and you can’t help sink into but the film is just the main scenes slapped together. |

"Law abiding citizen was bloody brilliant right up until the end .
Also Sixth sense as once you realise he is dead you can’t rewatch it "
Sixth sense is the most horrifying of all horror films though. Imagine being dead and still going to work? Oh, the unmitigated horror! |
