Oi Oi again fine folks
There’s often mention of cakes on here - nowt wrong with that say I
But…..are there any types of cake you DON’T like?
I’ll throw muffins forth here; I find them rather bland and often dry.
Now add cream and Jam to them and Bob’s your uncle but in their raw form…it’s a thumbs down from me.
Over to you now |

"Christmas pudding (that’s a sort of cake, right?)
It tastes like earwax.
….not as though I’d know what earwax tastes like of course….erm….
"
Earwax is a bit more like burned Red Velvet than Xmas pud.
But those bogies that are half gloopy creamy goo and half crispy crunchy tang - that's a dead ringer for Xmas pud.
Anyone fancy a snog? |

"Eccles cakes and mince pies, yuck! Only cakey type things I don't like.
Mince pies! Yuk! I've got some in the cupboard for people who came over, then didn't want em. I guess I should ditch them "
Every christmas seeing everyone scoffing mince pies, I feel so left out! |

I just get a lump of marzipan out. That sorts them! |

"Plus anything with marzipan "
Seconded!! Most vile stuff in the world, next to cinnamon!
LittlemissmisstressK - I'm with you!! I can't do it anymore, but I have eaten an entire box of Fondant/French Fancies in one sitting in my previous life! |

"Mr Kipling French fancies. Absolute garbage. Waste of calories as far as I'm concerned.
I could eat an entire box of those in one sitting!! Madeira cake however can go in the bin "
You can have my Kiplings, I'll have your maderia cake, I quite like it! |

When my son was a small child a family member babysat for a night.
They feed him nothing but carot cake and cola, 30 minutes after they left he vomitted EVERWHERE
Now just the smell of carot cake turns my stomach.
That and the cakes from costco. The icing is way too thick |

"I've had red velvet cake from a coffee shop once, which was enough to put me off forever.
"
Many people seem to dislike this red velvet cake, no surprise really as anything made with haberdashery off cut’s doesn’t sound pleasant at all |

The only cake we eat is one that I ve made...that could be banana and hazelnut or devil's food cake... but generally the only time we eat it. Unless on a beasty exercise something we d rarely order it if out, would literally never buy super market cakes....
Savoury is definitely our thing |
