I hate how it looks! The original is one of my all time fabourite movies and I loved reading the original graphic novels by James O Barr, so now it seems to be ruined. I especially hate that they have also used the same character names. |

Another soul-less remake all because Hollywood is out of ideas for anything original and hopes to cash in on nostalgia.
No wonder the industry is near collapse. Should've have left things alone. The original was a unique and visually striking film. |

I watch Midnights Edge on YouTube.
He was explaining why there are remakes, he suggests that movie producers who give the green light are poplin there forties who've fond memories of their favourite movies, and due to risk they remake these movies as they were a hit in their time.
Polling suggests that the young do not want remakes but original content without the virtue signalling.
Hollywood hasn't taken note and there will be a lot of remakes coming our way.

Despite a good cast, I’m sadly against it on principle.
Had the makers have chosen to reboot the franchise with another sequel to the original classic, with a different protagonist each time (as the previous sequels did) I would have looked forward to this.
Having said that, the last one, Wicked Prayer starring Edward Furlong was undoubtably one of the worst films I have ever had the misfortune to sit through though  |

Oh yes  I normally like Mark Dacascos - a fantastic martial artist but it was a bit of a low point in his career.
The most stupid part being that his trademark facial make up appeared spontaneously, as if by magic whenever he sensed injustice - what was that all about?  |

Exactly!!!! And the stupid fingernails growing at the same time!! Plus, it was shot during daylight for so much of it rather than in the dark the way it is supposed to be... I fought through three episodes getting angrier the whole time before eventually giving up |
