Well yesterday was one of those days I was not feeling it so deprived myself of cake. In fact just fruit and some flakes. I needed to redeem myself and just had a moreish and large slice of lemon cake. What cake do you fancy and how big a slice?

Really craving red velvet recently.

And all of it.

Like cut me a slice so big you are questioning your sanity.

I know that this one always proves controversial in whether it counts as a cake or a dessert but I’m going with Black Forest Gateau. It has everything you could possibly want in a cake in one serving, be still my beating appetite

I’ve honestly never yet met a cheesecake I haven’t liked (and I’ve tried every conceivable flavour).

Of the two though…..classic.

No….New York….

Classic…..

I used to make cakes professionally and I'd say my chocolate biscuit cake was most popular. I'd go with coffee and walnut myself...

But sugar is my drug of choice and I'm in withdrawal right now.

I see, well best go happy and cake filled ( not that I am encouraging overindulgence of course)

I tend to be really good with my diet during the week sticking to set meals and snacks. I make up for it on the weekend by going absolutely ballistic on the sugary treats

I hope this isn't bragging or arrogant, but I like to think that if I didn't have such a sweet tooth, I'd be absolutely shredded!
