Sometimes the fora can be a bit angsty; we talk about negative experiences, negative feelings we have towards others and ourselves.
So... what positive things have come about from Fab for you?

Enjoy the forum and where else could you have seen someone naked even if you just chat as friends
Meeting for fun seems illusive and as soon as I learned not to focus on just getting a meet fab became a whole lot more chilled |

Positives - I've met some very lovely people due to Fab, and not always for sex.
I've had long chats with other lovely people who don't live anywhere near me but that I have greatly enjoyed exchanging messages with.
I've managed to tick one of two fuck-it list items off - such as having a regular FWB for a while who was a squirter.
And I've enjoyed some fun forum topics and the feeling of a community of people (such as your good self OP), even if I haven't met the majority of the people in it.
Plus I've gotten to enjoy lots of pictures and videos of very beautiful women and couples.

Also, being in an environment where talking sexually is much more expected and accepted, and where flirting and compliments can be appreciated, which is something I've always struggled with, so it's been good for me to have this space where I can be more of a free, sexual person. |

I've met some amazing friends, most of whom are no longer on the site but we are still in touch and one who is my best friend and very much still here.
I haven't learned anything about myself but reinforced my values and confirmed that sex is not an essential part of my life. |

Oh, there are lots of positives to Fab, they far outweigh the negatives (but I tend not to dwell on negatives anyway...learn anything that can be learnt and move on sharpish). I met himself here, I've met some fantastic people who I now class as friends, who I wouldn't otherwise have crossed paths with. And I've had some bloody good times and made some awesome memories along the way  |

I've met some amazing people, fulfilled some fantasies along the way.
It gives me a good boredom scroll too & I enjoy taking the photos with the Mr, it has opened our communication and we've probably tried more I think since joining.

I no longer have to hide in the lockers in male changing rooms.
I merely open up my messages and am met with a sea of cock pictures. That alone has saved me time (and the embarrassment of being removed by security).

Definitely some interesting and diverse characters. Also a safe and unique place for people to explore their bicuriosity - it is how I found it through a straight male friend 5 years ago, when I was going through a strong bicurious phase for women. |

Thanks to fab, I’ve learned from someone I could love someone again.
I’ve learned a lot of my kinks are normal.
There are probably more positives, but they are the standout ones that come to mind immediately that are personal to me.

Yes. Fab is a tool to help you talk to others but if you focus on needing to meet... it's far less fun. Glad you're enjoying the forum. |

Amazing friendships -
One of my best friends came from here and we’re going on 5 years and I’ve learned about so many new concepts and things.
I find people on here tend to be incredibly intelligent and no other online places have I found friendships like fab since Napster days haha.
I met my ex here who helped me get over some REALLY big deeply infiltrated sexual trauma and we had an amazing relationship for a while.
I find online is where I am most comfortable in my interactions with humans and fab helps me interact.
Plus / I LOVE seeing people enjoying their sexuality and fab is amazing for letting me see that there are humans out there putting their pleasure at the top of their priority list instead of following societies wierd one person forever only rules instilled via fear and religion…

I think what I've learned is that I need to go to socials.
When my partner joined first she was bombarded with messages and forum interactions so I assumed joining would be similar. It really wasn't and was so frustrating. Now perusal till the local social falls on a date I can go to meet some lovely people. |

I've been able to fully embrace my bisexuality.
I've had some amazing sex with wonderful people in one-to-ones, threesomes, foursomes and ummm, more.
I've met some really interesting people, and people who have been generous with their time and knowledge.
I've made real friends. Friends who have been there for me in real life.
I've gained confidence sexually, in my body and I enjoy showing off my extensive lingerie collection.

All in all you get out what you put in we think. Don’t treat Fab properly or the people in it and it won’t work for you. It’s sometimes frustrating and not easy but when it works we can safely say we’ve met some absolutely amazing people who have helped fulfill some amazing fantasies and exploration.

That community aspect is delightful, having a safe space (when it works) to show your sexual self.

In 7 years of Fab by far the most positive thing is meeting the Mrs, she is more than I hoped for and more than I every felt like I deserved....

Since I've recently started to engage with the forums, my experience has improved hugely.
No meets, no meets planned but, I have been in communication with some really lovely people.
I'm quite a lonely person and spend most of my free time on my own so, I'm really glad and grateful that some people have taken the time to chat and get to know me a bit better, even if it doesn't go beyond conversation, I'm still delighted to have made those connections. |

What a wholesome thread, thank you to those open to sharing some incredibly personal experiences.
Myself Meli, I have met some delightful people, some delicious people and some downright beautifully souled people. And I have finally learned to let go of some things that were weighing me down and also how to embrace more time alone with less disappointment (those times when someone agrees to meet you for a social but doesn’t turn up  ) |

Had some lovely meets.
Socials, parties and holidays.
The "see who's near" on holiday is great.
Can't be bothered with the angst and grief and although we have had some successful 121 meets find other sites are better, but for group meets, socials and parties etc, we would have never known so much was going on and never had so many invites.

Positives of fabs for us.
We have kept in touch with those we have met in person at clubs and parties etc without having to give our personal number out.
We have also had some good meets on fabs but its been hard work. There are a lot of fake accounts that spoil it for the genuine people. We have been on here a long time and are good at filtering people. |
