Depends.
If I'm in work boots they come straight off. They never get beyond a foot from the front door.
Anything else, assuming it hasn't been raining or I've been anywhere muddy, gets taken off at the top of the stairs.
Then it's socks or bare foot.
I have a warm floor and nobody likes sweaty feet do they?
*not kink shaming for those that do of course. Each to their own and all that. |

Do all the slipper people ever wear them outside. Im always in and out the garden, so slippers get ruined, and it feels worse for me to be wearing slippers in the garden, than shoes in the house. |

Bedroom shoes stay on until I want to get under the covers "

Yep. I have bare floorboards so the floor is cold. Add in the likelihood of something left on the floor by an elderly cat, bare foot in my house is like an assault course. Slippers go on as soon as practical though. |

I don't wear shoes in my house and offer to take them off in other people's houses. I very much appreciate this trend for taking outdoor shoes off since I could afford more expensive carpets and don't want to spend my life cleaning them. |
