March Goals

Hello everyone! Happy 1st of March!

If you’re a goal setter, what are you hoping to achieve in March? If you’re not into setting goals as such is there anything you’re looking forward to this month?

I have been smashing the gym last month and feeling stronger which is exciting so would love to continue that!

A biggish social this month which will hopefully go well and I need to actually job hunt so updating the CV is on the list!

A wee bit more of a fun thing, I got a letter from my bestie so dusting out the pens and pretty stationary to write a letter to her and while I’m at it send one to my granny too

Let’s here your goals/plans/intentions and motivate each other

East Northamptonshire

I’m joining a gym, lost 3 stone last year & want to lose a couple more.

Attending a club & hopefully being here 4 months now, get a successful meet, yanno, 1 where sex happens with somebody who sparks my interest

I’m not much of a goal setter, but spring makes me think along those lines.

(Disclaimer: I’m in rural Scotland so ‘spring’ is relative. It snowed last night.)

I’m meeting a fab woman tonight who’s been making me laugh for ages.

There’s the Manchester Lounge Social to look forward to mid-month. I love a road trip.

It’s time to start sorting the garden. The snowdrops are dying off, daffodils and wild garlic are well on the way, and I can see lots of outdoor work ahead of me.

I’m expecting a couple of job offers to come through, and I could do with a change so I might actually accept one of them.

I’m going to get my gorgeous old car project underway this weekend so I can tinker in the garage as the days get brighter and warmer.

March is looking good, I think.

I want to relax and enjoy the light. It’s been so dark last few months (yes i know it was winter!), but just nice to get back outside again for longer, and hopefully warmer!

I've got some goals, although not all are set in stone.

One of boring ones is replacing my car brake pads and discs, mainly as I've got an MOT due in early April.

One of my goals last month was to get a ticket to a private party on 23rd March, something I'm really looking forward to. Thankfully, I've achieved that, so I'm hoping it will be good fun

Oh, and I'm going to see comedian Troy Hawke this weekend, as a belated birthday gift, so that should be a right laugh!

I set a goal at the start of the year to run 12 marathons in 12 months. So here we are in March and looking for one this month. Need to also work on my core to help compliment this.

Another goal I had set was to get back into giving blood while I’m fit enough and healthy enough. That gets ticked off today as I have a session booked. Other than those, wouldn’t mind a few more meets

. Great to hear you’re smashing the gym. I’m sure you’ll do a great job on your cv. Good luck for any jobs you’re applying for in the near future. Just brought a barbell so one of my goal’s is to start getting on the right track to starting to build some muscle. I’ve had nerve pain in my groin for ages now. I got referred on the nhs back in September to see a pain management consultant but got a letter in December saying it’s going to be August. I just booked a private consultant to see in London next as I’ve been off work for a long time so praying this comes to something.

Your March goals sound great lovely.

For me, March is going to be a funny month. I'm moving my son down to London for his new job. I'm so excited for him as he's following his dream.

I'm wondering what that little road trip may also have in store for me.

Aside from that, March is about planning for the rest of my year which is set to be my best one yet.

Whatever your March involves just remember to be kind to yourself.
