I will if you force me to...
Jump to: Newest in thread
Gents,
If you messaged a woman and she responded with:
"Thank you for your mail, you are unfortunately not what I am looking for. Please do not respond as I do not wish to block you but I will if you force me to...Would you?
a. Send another message and risk being blocked?
b. Accept her decision, stop contacting her and still be able to _iew her profile/pics etc?
c. ANO ??? |

"D... block her and move on"
Lol, that would be C. Why block her? She took the time to respond politely to your message, which is what all you gents continously complain and moan about; the fact that we do not!! |

To know not to contact her again as I have already written to her and I am not her type. |

I would have thought this was a no brainer? Or possibly this is a scientific experiment to prove how dumb some people can be in responding to no thanks ? Shall I mail you so you can tell me to go away, then try again to see if you block me ? |

A. Someone is going to block the other within a pretty short period of time so you may as well tell her what you think of her attitude. (Within certain boundaries of course). |

Don't explain, don't complain, just block.
If the gent has put some efforts into his message, then I shall write a few words before blocking.
There is no come back once blocked, simple.

I wouldn't send a message like that. If someone is too far away, I just tell them that and wish them luck. If they carry on messaging me, I just ignore them |

If I were a gent and received such a reply, the little imp in me would make me reply with a few choice words before blocking, and congratulate myself for having the upper hand afterwards.

My stock response (if they've read my profile) is "Thanks for the joke and the message, sorry you're not my type. Happy swinging!" If I get a thanks for responding message back I read and ignore it, same if I get a "why not?", if I have an abusive message back (and it's only happened once in 18 months) they're added to the block list along with those who are immediately blocked cos they haven't read my profile. Just for info, there's couples and single fems on my block list, it isn't just guys by any means, just that guys make up the majority on the site so it sometimes might seem like it's all blokes to some people |

Firstly I'd respect her decision that she was not interested. But she does seem to be going over the top in threatening to block if you message her again. A gentleman (there are some on here) would not respond to a not interested message, but her threat of blocking if you dare message again, I think calls for you to block her, but certainly do not respond, then neither party would have any contact again, which in this case seems to be best for all concerned |

Tank you all for your responses.
It was not an experiment I just wanted to know what the Fab community would say. She would probably be lying and have already blocked the person anyway.
Good point from those who would block her to avoid sending an unwanted message again.
If you feel that I am condescending, patronising and/or rude now in my response, please accept my apologies...after all English is not my first language and the nuances of the English language sometimes evade me.
Wishing you all a very good week to come. |

And this is why so many people, delete the original message and block at the same time. |
