I was looking at the garden yesterday and seen so many signs of spring being round the corner. Have you started tending to you garden bushes and plants yet or is it too early? Reminded me I need to look for a new gardener also.(to do the big trim, I do the top ups)

If I have time I normally do the major trimming too, but it forms a border between us and the neighbours and I usually do both sides. But we have new neighbours so do I ask if they want me to trim their bush or just leave it. I don’t know what the etiquette is here

Absolutely you do. You can't go anywhere near someone's bush without permission. I am sure they will be fine but need to ask.

Isn’t it nice though when the spring flowers appear.

Earlier every year I might add! Soon we’ll be getting snow(drops) at Christmas!

It is indeed. Gives you that great feeling. I loved looking at all my daffodils yesterday.

As you know I started on a rockery recently. I've also got some tomato and peppers started in the greenhouse, Mr N has done some cutting back, general tidying and mowed the lawns.

They will. Little Tiny-Rocky will be very happy

I've got the main stones in position and I plan to have a kind of waterfall of plants in one corner. The base for that is in place.

I am bush free OP. Good luck wrestling yours into presentable form!

But I have just purchased a flat with a decent balcony and suddenly I’m faced with the happy task of buying some outdoor furniture.

Any plans for your garden or will you maintain it as it is?

That will be nice when you get it. Easy maintainance and lots of pleasure

"Once my fence panels are back up hahaa "

I've had to put 4 back up this winter, posts rotted and snapped. I've only done a temporary fix so that the dog doesn't get out.

It's my to do over Easter. New posts need cementing in.

Hate being an adult sometimes
